We love the fishes cuz they're so...

Anyone who knows me, knows that I am still slightly depressed about leaving Boston. It has been about 7 months since we left, but the sight of the skyline still brings me to tears. It may seem a little dramatic, but I fell in love there, became a teacher there, got married there and had my baby there. It is my home and for those reasons, it will always have a piece of my heart…a very very large piece.
One of the most devastating things for me about leaving was that Landon would no longer be a city baby. I loved the idea of walking everywhere with him and sharing with him all of the things that we love so much about our city.
When we moved back to Connecticut after living in Boston for the last 6 years, we promised each other that we would always make time to go back and visit, but of course life happens and it hasn’t been as easy getting back as much as we wanted.
When Brendon told me he thought we should take Landon to the New England Aquarium this weekend, I was practically in the car before he finished asking me.
Landon was so amazed by everything at the aquarium! He was chatting with all the fish and thought the penguins were hysterical. When we left, he obviously hammed it up everywhere we went. I call him “the mayor” because he is always smiling and waving at people.
I hope you enjoy the pictures!
